A once in a lifetime original experience in Nicaragua, You will be immersed in the culture of the local community, indigenous people, farmers and fishermen of the countryside. You will be surrounded by nature, flora and fauna for an amazing experience while helping the local community at the same time!

Hiking and horseback riding

We leave the house at 5am, we take a short 20 minute drive to a dock before embarking on a 45 minute boat ride to Charco Muerto. We stop for a cup of Nicaraguas famous coffee, then horseback ride to the “Big Hill”. We will then hike around the beautiful hill top. We will see stunning views of the Zapatera Volcanic Archipelago, Mombacho Volcano, Granada Islets, Lake Nicaragua & the surrounding communities.

Fishing and cooking

For lunch, we go fishing in lake Nicaragua with a local expert. We then clean and cook the fish with the locals for a delicious authentic lunch!

Sour water swimming

After lunch we set off on another quest to the legendary Aguas Agrias (Sour Waters) , the local community say these waters will make you feel ten years younger! These waters are located at the base of the Mombacho volcano. We then head back to the house to finish off the day.
